There are classes where you come in, move your body, and leave feeling better.
And then there are classes that mean something more.
This is one of those.
On Friday, May 1st, we’re hosting two Donation Reformer Classes at 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM to support one of our own, Jill.
If you’ve taken class with her, you already know… she’s strong as hell. But her story goes way beyond what you see in the studio.
Jill was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at 21 and lupus at 39. Years of treatments, hospital stays, and surgeries left her exhausted. At one point, she could barely walk, drive, or take care of herself. She had to step away from nursing, a career she loved.
She hit a point where she stopped treatment altogether because she just couldn’t do it anymore.
Then she met her rheumatologist, Ali Husain, who didn’t give up on her. He kept searching, kept supporting, and helped her find a path back to a better quality of life.
And now… she’s moving again. Teaching. Showing up.
And she’s walking.
Jill is participating in the Arthritis Foundation Walk this May to help raise money for research, resources, and support for people living with arthritis.
She told me she’s walking not just for herself, but for the people who can’t.
Yeah… that one hits.
So we’re doing what we do best. We’re moving for a reason.
You can expect a solid class. You can expect to feel stronger when you leave.
And you’ll know your time in the studio actually helped someone else too.
Spots are limited (you know the drill, only 8 reformers), so if you’re in, grab your spot early.
